Euphonix to Show Audio Console Upgrades & New Control Surfaces

At the NAB Show next week, Euphonix will introduce upgrades of the Max Air, System 5 and S5 Fusion console lines as well as System 5-MC and MC Pro DAW controllers. Euphonix also will show its new line of Ethernet Artist Series workstation controllers for personal studios.

The new Fiber Stagebox solution for broadcast applications is a modular, remote, high-density Stagebox able to handle up to 56 mic preamps with redundant fiber audio connectivity and control. Multiple Stageboxes can connect into the Euphonix DSP SuperCore by MADI over fiber with control from the console’s channel strips.

Euphonix also will show an integration of the Ross OverDrive production control with the System 5-B mixing system. The OverDrive provides centralized control of such studio devices as servers, routers and robotic cameras, as well as the audio console. The 5-B Rundown Control playlist software support fully automated productions.

Euphonix will also debut its new Artist series of controllers that unite MC Control and MC Mix capabilities. Combining the master control Euphonix Mix and Control units, the Artist series brings the speed, resolution and control of Euphonix’ high-end professional consoles to Max OS X audio/video applications. The MC Control is specifically designed to accelerate video editing with applications like Apple’s Final Cut Pro.

Euphonix will be at Booth N5217.
