Dimetis to show BOSS LINK Manager at NAB2009

Dimetis has launched its new BOSS LINK Manager application, on display in Booth SU9920A, at NAB2009. The BOSS LINK Manager moves high-bandwidth video and media, with QoS, in an on-demand fashion by unifying transmission link management across disjointed broadcast and telecom environments.

In contrast to today’s typical video service deployments that are manually provisioned and activated when crossing broadcast and telecom network boundaries, Dimetis’ BOSS LINK Manager moves more quality video and media in real time and enables higher revenues and profits.

The BOSS LINK Manager dynamically configures, schedules, monitors and controls video/audio and data connections across all types of contribution and distribution networks. Technology and protocol agnostic, it supports a wide range of features and functionality, including point-to-point and multipoint connections for IP, HD/SD, ASI, T1/E1 and Ethernet environments. All network transmissions can be precisely configured, scheduled, bandwidth-managed and tracked, with automatic rerouting on path failures or conflicts. A next-generation OSS, SOA-based design ensures a seamless interface to existing OSS, monitoring and control and/or billing systems.
