At NAB2007, Dielectric will showcase its new Broadband Omni CP Pylon Antenna, which offers lower cost and reduced complexity for broadcasters using the lower 700MHz band.
By using a third of the radiators, feed system and connections typically used in a panel-style antenna, the Broadband Omni CP Pylon Antenna provides increased reliability in a self-supporting, pylon-style format.
Designed with short element spacing, Dielectric's new pylon antenna additionally features a low RFR, a VSWR of less than 1.2:1, and a low wind load, reduced 40 percent from the typical panel antenna approach.
The new unit's design incorporates discrete, circularly polarized, truncated broadside helical elements.
