Cisco to highlight IPTV solutions at ANGA CAble

Cisco will feature solutions to help all provider sectors deliver total quality of experience on a mass market scale during ANGA Cable 2008, May 27-29 in Cologne, Germany.

Cisco IP Next-Generation Network (IP NGN) architectures, including next-generation STBs and Connected Home solutions, are optimized for personalized multiple-play services combining video, voice, data and mobility, allowing consumers to share multimedia content and enjoy access to it anytime and anywhere, at home or on the move.

Demos at the event will illustrate how providers can deliver service innovation by moving to an open, IP-based platform that supports the development of new applications for ‘Connected Life’ experiences, including Video Over DOCSIS (VDOC), WebTV and Over the Top (OTT) services integration, video session shifting to multiple devices, and targeted advertising.
