Brick House Video, a U.K.-based provider of switchers and format converters, will introduce an HD version of its Callisto switcher at IBC2008.
Like its SD predecessor, Callisto-HD offers hybrid capabilities suited for SNG/ENG platforms. The unit incorporates Super Resolution Bandlet Technology, first seen in Syntax, BHV's up/down/cross converter, allowing users to handle analog, SDI SD and SDI HD signals in one unit.
BHV will also demonstrate its entire Callisto suite of dual frame store synchronizer vision switchers, including the Callisto-R, a rackmount 8-input 1U main frame with separate control panel, the Callisto-P portable 6-input unit, and the Callisto-F rackmount version for automation systems. All models include remote control and DSK as standard, and have the option of composite inputs.
