Autoscript to Showcase Prompting Technology at NAB

Autoscript (formerly BDL-Autoscript) will highlight several new products for the teleprompting market at NAB2005.

A new wireless scroll control designed for "wandering" presenters will be demonstrated at the company's booth. Currently in use at Independent Television (ITV) newsrooms in the U.K., the handheld device includes story select buttons and a GPI facility to control other devices such as a weather map. An ActiveX controller, which enables a prompter to be managed and scrolled from any newsroom client, will also be demonstrated.

Autoscript also will show updates to its +WinPlus+ prompting software, featuring new facilities and newsroom interfaces, including the implementation of MOS software.

In addition, the company will feature a range of high specification color-capable TFT flat panel on-camera prompters in eight sizes, ranging from 6 to 20 inches, including a new 17-inch version. The company also has added a competitively priced ELP (Entry-Level-Professional) on-camera prompter for studio use in 12- and 15-inch screen sizes that offer a direct replacement for conventional CRT-based prompters.

Autoscript will be in Booth C8926.
