Akamai Technologies will showcase developments in the delivery of HD content online at IBC2008 in Amsterdam, Sept. 12-16.
The company will unveil new industry insight into the adoption and delivery of HD services by media and entertainment companies around the world. The company recently announced that The NewsMarket will leverage Akamai’s Web Application Accelerator service to speed up its subscriber portal to enable faster accessibility to Olympics-related news from the Games in Beijing.
In addition, The NewsMarket is using Akamai's Media Delivery solution for Adobe Flash streaming and electronic software delivery for faster video download services for journalists.
