Agama Technologies has unveiled version 2.2 of the Agama IPTV monitoring solution.
New functions include integration APIs for conditional access systems, video thumbnails and content analysis which detects error condition such as black screen and freeze frame.
Version 2.2 also supports monitoring channels with forward error correction (FEC-4) for contribution applications.
Included APIs for conditional access allow operators to ensure service quality even if the content is encrypted.
