da Vinci Appoints Geoff Parker as Regional Field Service Engineer for Northeast

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Dec. 4, 2007 -- da Vinci Systems, a leading provider of color grading, image enhancement, and image restoration products used in post-production facilities worldwide, today announced the appointment of Geoff Parker as regional field service engineer for the northeastern United States. Parker, a 25-year engineering veteran in the video industry, will cover the tri-state territory of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut for da Vinci.

In his new position, Parker will be a frontline point of contact for new and existing da Vinci customers, providing after-sales installation, maintenance, and upgrade support and training. Parker also will offer technical support and training to colorists and engineers on the basic operation and maintenance procedures for all da Vinci product lines including the Resolve® digital mastering suite, the 2K Plus® color enhancement system, and the Revival™ image restoration system.

“Geoff brings a diverse array of technical experience and knowledge to da Vinci,” said Dean Lyon, director of marketing for da Vinci Systems. “We are pleased to provide ongoing, quality customer service for our entire product line and Geoff will be a great asset to our team. Parker comes to da Vinci from Snell & Wilcox‘s offices in Burbank, Calif., where he was a systems engineer for five years and provided customer support to the entire East Coast. Prior to Snell & Wilcox, Parker worked 16 years for Quantel in both the Connecticut and U.K. offices. While at Quantel, Parker held various engineering positions, including the post of U.S. engineering/exhibitions manager.
