TV One Adds HD-SDI Capabilities to the Already Popular C2-2000 Series

Five CORIO2® C2-2000 units with HD-SDI will make their debut at NAB 2008 in booth N1725 and will include a Universal Up/Down Converter, two Up Converters and two Down Converters.

ERLANGER, KY, April 2, 2008--TV One has taken product diversification up a notch with the addition of HD-SDI to five of the ten units in the C2-2000 series. These units now feature HD-SDI along with DVI and Analog inputs and outputs. The C2-2355A features HD-SDI Up, Down and Cross Conversion. The C2-2205A and C2-2255A offer Up and Cross Conversion, while the C2-2105A and C2-21555A provide Down Conversion.

The C2-2355A Universal Converter‘s inputs consist of SD/HD-SDI, DVI-D, Analog RGB/YPbPr via HD-15, YUV/YPbPr via 3-BNC, Composite Video via BNC, and YC (S-Video). Simultaneous outputs are provided in SD/HD-SDI, DVI-I and Analog RGB/YUV/YPbPr via HD-15, Composite Video and YC. All inputs are scalable to and from virtually all PC, SD and HD resolutions. Frame rates and incoming signal parameters can be adjusted. Advance features include Proc Amp, Genlock, Zoom, Shrink, Aspect Ratio Conversion, Picture-in-Picture, Chromakey, Lumakey, Mixing and Edge Blending.

The C2-2205A Up/Cross Converter‘s inputs consist of SD/HD-SDI, 2x Composite Video, 2x YC, YUV/YPbPr via 3-BNC and Analog RGB/YPbPr via HD-15. The two outputs consist of DVI-I and Analog RGB/YPbPr via HD-15. All inputs are scalable to and from virtually all PC, SD and HD resolutions. Frame rates and incoming signal parameters can be adjusted. Advance features include Proc Amp, Genlock, Zoom, Shrink and Aspect Ratio Conversion. The C2-2255A adds Picture-in-Picture, Chromakey, Lumakey, Mixing and Edge Blending capability.

The C2-2105A Down Converter‘s inputs consist of RGB/YPbPr via HD-15 with Loop-thru and DVI-D. Simultaneous outputs are provided in SD/HD-SDI, Composite Video, YC and YUV/YPbPr. Advance features include Proc Amp, Genlock, Zoom, Shrink and Aspect Ratio Conversion. The C2-2155A adds Picture-in-Picture, Chromakey, Lumakey, Mixing and Edge Blending capability.

The C2-2000 series focuses on ease of use while providing features common to more expensive devices. This includes automatic incoming resolution detection and support of multiple worldwide television standards. All units can handle a maximum input PC resolution of 2048 x 2048 and all HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. Variable Zoom can go up to 10x allowing enlargement of any part of the computer screen while Variable Shrink can go down to 10 percent. Position controls allow movement around any desired area. The Up Converters feature motion compensation and a 3:2 Pulldown to greatly improve NTSC image quality from film sources. The 4:4:4 sampling provides full bandwidth chroma for accurate replication of high resolution colors and precise Chromakeying.

The C2-2000 series are controlled by front panel Push Buttons, Infrared, RS-232 or IP connection. A Windows Control Panel is provided and most third party control systems interface directly with the entire C2 range of products. All units offer Glitch-free Switching between any of the input signals, regardless of format. The number of inputs may be increased by choosing the appropriate S2 Input Expansion Switcher, which links to the main unit via an Options Interconnect Cable. The routing of these additional inputs is controlled directly from the any of the C2-2000 Series control system. All models are housed in a compact desktop case with optional rackmounting.
