Orad has provided the Voice of America with a virtual studio that will help the VOA provide information on the United States and content worldwide by providing the ability to produce the same shows in multiple formats. This consists primarily of changing the language and color used according to the target country and appropriate demographics.
The virtual studio features real-time video graphics rendering, Steadicam tracking abilities, user-friendly control and operation and an upgrade path to HD.
The studio relies on Orad's custom hardware platform, the DVG. The DVG is a real-time video graphics rendering PC-based platform that supports available HD formats.
