MPEG Master Class On Deck at CES 2010

FREMONT, CALIF.: The MPEG Industry Forum will present its first
MPEGIF Master Class at a Consumer Electronics Show. The class, “TV X.0 Present
and Future,” continues the series of master classes conducted at the broadcast
industry’s two biggest trade shows, NAB in April and IBC in September. The CES
Show is held in January. The MPEG Forum’s master class is scheduled for Friday,
Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Las Vegas Convention Center room N260.
Topics to be covered include Internet TV, mobile, 3DTV, addressable advertising
“Looking at the future of television and online video, it is absolutely
imperative to realize that while technologies are maturing, business models
have not yet delivered,” said Sebastian Moeritz, MPEGIF president and CEO of
