Beat the Traffic/Triangle Software of Campbell, Calif. received a fourth patent for its traffic reporting system. The patent, “Traffic Routing Based on Segment Travel Time,” No. 7,375,649, covers the company“s process for “computing accurate, point-to-point trip times using real-time and predictive traffic speed data,” according to the vendor. The technology lets drivers know when they“ll arrive at their destination.
The company, which specializes in vehicular traffic reporting systems, has several other patents pending, accoridn to Andre Gueziec, president & CEO of Triangle Software, d.b.a Beat the Traffic.
