The Corporation for Public Broadcasting presented its 2016 Ralph Lowell Award to Jennifer Lawson, senior vice president of television production and digital video content for CPB.

Proposed FY 2020 budget would cut federal funding to $30 million each of the next two years.

$495 million budget is first increase in 10 years.

Says PBS, which is funded by CPB, is airing material “objectionable to many Americans.”
