Sennheiser continues restructuring

Sennheiser continued its ongoing corporate restructuring in the United States with the recent hiring of industry veteran David McNutt as team leader for the company’s installed sound group. McNutt will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and distribution to the installed sound channels, acting as liaison between Sennheiser's U.S. operation, corporate German headquarters, the factory and the marketplace with regard to product development, distribution strategy, channel and marketing communications, and strategic growth initiatives.

McNutt has 35 years of audio and video industry experience. His career has included radio broadcasting, advertising, marketing and business, and he has extensive experience with live sound engineering, product marketing, audio system design and consultation, and fixed installation contracting. He comes to Sennheiser from db Integrated Systems, a company he co-founded in 2003 to provide and build the renowned audio system at Chicago's Millennium Park. McNutt holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Chicago.

The Sennheiser U.S. Marketing Communications team announced a recent restructuring as well. Rachel Vaclavik was promoted to the newly created position of marketing communications specialist, while Gregory Pizzi was hired as the graphics and new media project manager.

In her new position, Rachel Vaclavik works with channel product managers and team leaders to develop and manage both internal and external communications tools such as newsletters, marketing updates, and trade articles. Her primary role is that of liaison between Sennheiser and the press. Vacklavic holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Connecticut.

As the graphics and new media project manager, Greg Pizzi designs, develops and executes corporate marketing communications projects for all Sennheiser business areas. He comes to Sennheiser from Train Simple of Santa Monica, CA. Pizzi has extensive experience in computer-based design for print and Web graphics, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Art from Eastern Connecticut State University.
