The city of Guangzhou in southern China has announced plans to build one of the world’s tallest television towers by 2007.
Work on the tower, which will measure between 1902ft-1968ft, will commence in December. The site is in a residential area of the city.
When complete, Guangdong TV will move into the tower facility, which will occupy 166,000sq ft.
