The 1.7lb Dionic batteries are compatible with PowerChargers in the field, as well as the Titan series. At the heart of the battery are multiple electronic safety circuits and the mechanical integrity of IMPAC case construction.
The Dionic 90 and Dionic 160 rely on a cell configuration constructed with special lithium ion cells originally designed for military applications. The result is lighter weight and longer battery life. The Dionic 160 weighs 30 percent less than the HyTRON 120 and offers 30 percent more capacity. The Dionic 160 can power a typical camcorder for more than six hours.
