Abit debuts time-shifting at IBC

Abit is showcasing its Time-Shift solution for flexible opt-outs, in addition to enhanced secondary event handling at IBC2005.

Time-Shift controls multiple master and slave channels to take care of opt-out-duration mismatches with little or no manual intervention. It allows broadcasters to tailor channels for different regions with variations in commercials, subtitles or other logos.

Abit is also facilitating secondary events workflows, such as graphics, with separate programming of each event, or alternately, coordination in a dynamic live schedule. The company is also to confirm future-proof compatibility with a wider choice of operating systems.

Abit will also introduce a new streamlined hardware package with the flexibility to incorporate a range of hot-swappable components and redundancy options.
