WWTV has purchased and begun installing an Avid digital production environment for news creation, storage and playout.
The CBS affiliate in Cadillac, Mich. is replacing its tape-based systems with Avid Unity for News shared-storage with MediaManager software, seven NewsCutter XP systems and a NewsCutter Adrenaline nonlinear news editing system, Avid iNEWS for automation, MediaStream for commercial play-out and Avid SD Nitris system for editing promotions and long-form features.
