Wohler names new CEO

Wohler Technologies, a provider of audio monitors and signal converters, has named David Johnson as its new Chief Operating Officer. With a combined engineering and financial operations background, Johnson has held senior management positions with several high-technology companies, including Maxtor, Iomega and Amdahl.

Carl Dempsey, executive vice president, said that Johnson would help lead the company in offering high-quality audio and video monitoring system and software. This includes the new PenPal-HD SDI video and audio test generator, which provides 32 video test patterns in 18 HD standards in a portable unit the size of a ball point pen. Wohler also offers a full line of compact LCD video monitors.
