Living Faith Ministries, a licensee of WLFG-TV, NTSC channel 68 and permittee of DTV station WLFG-DT on channel 49 in Grundy, Va., has asked the FCC to allow it to cease analog broadcasting on NTSC channel 68 and surrender its license for that channel prior to the end of the DTV transition and continue operation as a digital-only station on channel 49.
FCC Public Notice DA 07-1319 describes the request and the rules under which stations may surrender their analog licenses prior to the end of the DTV transition.
