WebWare reconfigures the MAMBO

WebWare has announced the debut of WebWare ActiveMedia 4, a major upgrade of its flagship digital asset management software formerly called WebWare MAMBO.
ActiveMedia 4, a web services-based digital asset management system, allowscompanies to integrate a rich media repository with other enterprise applications built on BEA's WebLogic or IBM's WebSphere systems. It can be used as a stand-alone media asset management system or integrated with existing enterprise content management software such as Interwoven's TeamSite.
Current WebWare customers include Boeing, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Charles Schwab, BBDO Detroit, the National Football League, National Geographic and Scripps Networks.
ActiveMedia 4 is designed to integrate rich media content into web content management systems, sales and marketing portals, multichannel content distribution systems and e-commerce portals. It accelerates the creation, approval, transformation and delivery of rich media, including video, still images, illustrations, layouts, text documents and Flash.
