Utah Scientific adds new frame, multirate I/O modules to UTAH-400 family

At IBC2006, Utah Scientific unveiled the latest additions to its UTAH-400 family of digital routing switchers, including a new frame for large routers up to 288x288 with fully automatic internal crosspoint redundancy and a new set of multirate input/output modules with rates capable of 1Mb/s to 3Gb/s.

The new UTAH-400 288 frame offers the option of a redundant crosspoint module, which when combined with the Utah Scientific SC-4 control system's monitoring and control facilities, provides a dependable solution for the most demanding operational requirements.

The new multirate cards offer a solution for facilities that need a fully HD-compatible routing switcher for 720p, 1080i and 1080p, which will require a full 3Gb/s of bandwidth. The new cards are available for all UTAH-400 routers.
