USA Network is making its entry into HDTV with its first ever live coverage of the 2003 Masters Golf Tournament in high-def, April 10-11.
USA will cover the early rounds of the tournament, which will be broadcast in 1080i. The service will be offered free to cable operators.
The finals of the tournament will be broadcast by CBS in HD on the weekend (April 12-13), in what the network is describing as "the largest HDTV production ever."
