Web content provider uclick has signed an exclusive agreement with MTV Networks will let the company expand mobile content offerings with the kind of high-recognition fare they specialize in.
In addition to brands such as Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Spike and VH1, this deal includes a broad mix of mobile wallpapers, short animations, themes and videos — all optimized for mobile devices — from shows ranging from “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” to “SpongeBob SquarePants.”
This launch adds to the growing list of top-brand uclick features that includes “Garfield,” Paul Frank, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and Virgin Comics. All are currently featured on uclick-managed desktop and mobile Web storefronts. Uclick is available from mobile phone network operators and other major distribution channels.
