To bolster its U.S. cable and broadband business development, Tandberg Television has hired new execs.
David Eng and David Wright join the digital broadcast and broadband supplier as the director of cable business development and the senior account manager for broadband, respectively.
Eng previously worked for C-COR of State College, Pa. where he served as corporate vice president, Americas business, where he directed product and sales in North and South America. He worked at Scientific-Atlanta for 10 years, serving in several sales management roles. Eng will be tasked with expanding Tandberg Television reach into the U.S cable industry.
Wright comes to Tandberg Television with a background in digital television after working at Panasonic for seven years and at Atlanta-based Barco Communication Systems for four years. Most recently, he worked for Pioneer Electronics in Roswell, Ga. Wright's responsibilities include broadening business relationships with cable and telco video operators.
