Thomson Grass Valley to present at SMPTE Australia

Thomson Grass Valley will present several technical papers and lead discussions on several new workflow models and new ways of acquiring and storing HD images at the biannual SMPTE Conference & Exhibition in Australia July 17-20.

The company’s involvement in presentation and discussions will include:

  • The presentation “Has MXF Matured?" — a technical paper by Bob Edge, manager of standards and technology, on July 19;
  • The presentation “Applications of Content Security Technologies in Post Production and Broadcasting” by Ray Baldock, director of technology, standards and applications, on July 19;
  • Two papers from Peter Centen, group leader and chief scientist: "Wide Gamut High Performance Imaging in Digital Cinematography" on July 18 and "The 2/3in 2.4 megapixel CMOS Imager for Broadcast and Pro/AV Applications" on July 19.
