The TH 790 CD IOT
Thales Electron Devices unveiled its new depressed collector IOT and its total amplification chain at NAB2003.
The TH 790 CD IOT features 33 kW DTV power and up to 55 percent beam efficiency. It features only one added depressed collector, thus requiring only two voltages for easier installation and optimum operation.
Thales Electron Devices now also offers UHF TV broadcasters a total amplification solution.
The amplification chain combines:
- Either a standard or a depressed-collector IOT
- Dedicated RF circuit(cavity)
- LDMOS driver (one of the new Ampsium family lmodules)
