TeamCast Providing FLO Modulation Equipment to Axcera

Axcera is now using TeamCast FLO modulators in its MediaFLO transmitters.

David Neff, CEO of Axcera, said that the company was pleased with the TeamCast relationship.

“We are delighted in this collaboration with TeamCast,” Neff said. “The new FLO-compliant range of products from TeamCast allows us to quickly adapt to the needs of the expanding Mobile TV market worldwide.”

Jean-Luc Pavy, CEO at TeamCast also expressed his thoughts on the partnership.

“The fruitful collaboration we have with Axcera clearly illustrates how TeamCast is responding to market demand and is contributing to the fast growing ecosystem surrounding MediaFLO technology,” Pavy said.

While many broadcasters are familiar with Axcera’s line of low power and high power TV transmitters, TeamCast is not as widely known. TeamCast offers a wide range of modulators supporting ATSC, DVB-T, DMB-T, DVB-H, DVB-SH, and FLO transmission standards as well as products for digital TV electronic news gathering (D-ENG) systems.
