SUN Sports & Entertainment has contracted with Mendelson Entertainment Group for a multi-city, multi-fight contract for its new UNDERGROUND Cage Fighting Division.
Initial events will take place in Texas, with the first fight occurring in Wichita Falls on September 22 at the Kay Jaeger Coliseum. The second event is slated for September 29 at Don Haskins Center at the University of Texas.
"We are excited about launching UNDERGROUND and providing this new and exciting form of Sports and Entertainment to Arena Operators, starting in Texas," said J. Buckeye Epstein, president of SUN Sports & Entertainment.
Mendelson Entertainment Group syndicates over 60 hours of sports television specials a year.
