Stratos Optical Technologies, a fiber-optic connectivity system solutions developer located in Chicago, has hired Dennis Gudgel as product manager of the video division. He is responsible for the company's media converter product line and supporting products and will assume a role in steering product solution design as well as managing product quality.
Gudgel has more than 20 years experience in product management and marketing of engineered products for a variety of industries including aerospace, data communications, electronics, broadcast and video, specifically in the coax and fiber optics market segments. His previous experience includes product marketing roles at Electrodynamics, Rogers Corp., Alpha Wire Corp. and Belden Wire and Cable.
