SportVU At IBC 2007

SportVU will be demonstrating the latest version of its product at IBC 2007 in Amsterdam, which is taking place September 7 to 11.

"SportVU is a realtime, non-intrusive system that tracks players and the ball during team sporting events,” said Gal Oz, CEO of SportVU. “It improves the viewer's experience of the game significantly. The system automatically produces statistical features like speed profiles, accumulated distances, fatigue factors, and coverage maps, all in realtime. Broadcasters can customize the live data parameters. Results can be integrated with the station's graphics systems to deliver very insightful analytical views. It brings a new dimension of fun, understanding and fan involvement to the game."

Team and personal player stats are produced using SportVU’s live data and broadcast live over the air or in-stadium. Mexican broadcaster Televisa has tested SportVU technology successfully during soccer broadcasts.
