Signiant expansion in Central Europe and Asia Pacific

Signiant has opened two new offices in Munich and Singapore to extend its reach within Central Europe and the Asia Pacific region. The expansion is a direct response to the growing global demand for digital media distribution solutions the company said.

Joachim Bause joins Signiant as general manager for the Central and Eastern European regions. Based in Munich, Bause was previously VP of Sales for Europe and Asia at Omnibus Systems.

Nick Hardcastle has been appointed to managing director for the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, Hardcastle will lead Signiant's operations in territories including India, Pakistan, China, North East and South East Asia, and Australasia. He joins Signiant after spending 17 years at British Telecom (BT) in the UK and, more recently, in Singapore.

Rick Cramer, SVP of Global Operations, Signiant said: "Signiant has gained enormous momentum in recent months, with key sales around the world and a rapidly growing acceptance of our solution as an integral part of digital media strategies. Joachim and Nick's respective backgrounds and experience put us in a strong position to strengthen our reputation in the Central European and Asia Pacific markets."
