ScheduALL Partners With SintecMedia

ScheduALL has established a technology partnership with SintecMedia, a provider of management systems for the broadcasting, cable, and satellite industries, to enable seamless integration of operations management with airtime sales, traffic, programming, and promotion campaigns. The combination of ScheduALL software with SintecMedia's OnAir software introduces dramatically improved efficiency to the production and airing of broadcast content, backed by comprehensive production and cost reporting.

"The integration of ScheduALL software and our OnAir system streamlines the entire broadcast process, from the earliest planning stages to delivery to the viewer at home," said Gad Eliav, vice president of research and business analysis at SintecMedia. "We've tied all of these key processes together in a seamless workflow that not only saves time, but also provides the tools and information necessary for broadcasters to get the most out of their investment in programming."

ScheduALL software is an end-to-end operations management solution for the broadcasting, production, and postproduction industries. It streamlines operations through efficient scheduling, automation of repetitive tasks, cost-center control, business result reporting, and optimization of resource use. As a result of this new partnership between ScheduALL and SintecMedia, the broadcast schedule created through OnAir triggers the resource scheduling necessary to get that content to air on the right date, at the right time. In essence, the OnAir schedule serves as a task list, and the ScheduALL system creates a "to do" list for each of those tasks.

The information generated by ScheduALL can be turned over to the control room staff so that they know which resources—human, equipment, and facilities—will be required to meet the program transmission date. A similar workflow can be established for in-house production, with ScheduALL software enabling the planning and maintenance of the production schedule according to the factors such as the program length, genre, and target airdate. If any of these factors change, the ScheduALL system adapts and allocates resources accordingly. With ongoing tracking of production costs tied directly to each program scheduled in OnAir, the broadcaster gets a complete view of related profits or loss.

"Our partnership with SintecMedia leverages two areas of scheduling together to enable smart, flexible management of the entire broadcast workflow," said Roger Kleckner, vice president of strategic development at ScheduALL. "By sharing critical information about the work to be done and the resources required to complete that work on schedule, our technologies eliminate redundancies in broadcast operations and open the door to far greater productivity."
