Samsung sets new benchmark for LCD screen size

Samsung Electronics recently unveiled a new 46-inch LCD LTP468W monitor.
This model is the first consumer flat-panel TV in the market to boast a 1920x1080p native resolution, the highest of the 18 ATSC formats. The LTP468W has an 800:1 contrast ratio and a brightness rating of 500 cd/m2 and handles fast moving video with a 12-milisecond pixel response time. It also features 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles and Samsung's latest generation of DNI-e picture enhancement circuitry delivering improved contrast, detail, color and video motion optimization. Samsung is the second-largest LCD provider in the world.
