At the 2008 TD-SCDMA Evolution and LTE Summit in Shanghai, Rohde & Schwarz presented its solutions for LTE measurement, including a demonstration of 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) Time-Division Duplexing (TDD) functionality based on the R&S SMU200A signal generator and R&S FSG signal analyzer.
The TD-SCDMA Evolution and LTE Summit focused on the evolution of Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) and LTE technologies, market strategies and product solutions, as well as highlighted the trial TD-SCDMA commercial 3G mobile telecommunications service launched at the beginning of April. That system will be tested by public users during the Olympic Games in Beijing this summer.
A member of TD-SCDMA Forum, Rohde & Schwarz is interested in promoting the development of the standard and providing TD-SCDMA real-time test solutions. The company is the first supplier on the market with test solutions for 3GPP LTE.
