Last week, Dave Folsom, VP and CTO of Raycom Media, outlined the first five of his “HDTV Top 10,” a list of tips he and his group learned from putting a dozen stations on the air last year with HD news.
Folsom first presented the list two weeks ago in Orlando, FL, at the Competitive Television Summit. During his presentation, Folsom spoke about the real-world ins and outs of doing HD on a local level. The Top 10 summarized important advice that ranged from engineering observations to aesthetic concerns about HD graphics.
This week, Folsom concludes his chat by discussing the remaining five items on his “HDTV Top 10.”
