Proton Electronic Industrial has integrated the Tvia TrueView 5700 Processor in its Proton Pro-Flat DT-27H and ST-32H series of 1080i HDTV sets.
Features of the TrueView 5700 include 3D noise reduction, advanced de-interlacing, frame-rate conversion and 3:2 pull down. The TrueView video de-interlacing processor detects and responds to noise thresholds.
"Tvia strives to provide the world's best digital display processor technology," said Eli Porat, CEO adding that the deal is a validation of the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company to be selected by Proton.
