Post Blur has recently purchased a Quantel, eQ editing and mastering system.
The Cleveland-based post house is moving toward an all-HD environment for its commercial clients, who comprise 95 percent of its work.
Dave Mclean--who heads up Post Blur--said that the company bought eQ for its "full-on HD capabilities."
"There is not yet a great marketing demand here for HD, but the eQ has the power to enable us to complete every project at HD resolution as a matter of course," said Mclean.
