The Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy is using Chyron’s Duet Lex for graphics and titles production as part of a major digital upgrade of its master control room.
The Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy (POPB), a sports and entertainment stadium in Paris, has installed a Chyron Duet LEX as part of a major digital upgrade of its master control room.
Based on the Eastern side of the city, POPB is a local landmark that plays host to a number of concerts and sporting events. Chyron’s Duet LEX will provide the stadium’s production company, TV Bercy, with improved graphics capability and real-time animation for its live and recorded footage of boxing, ice-skating, super-cross an basketball.
The Duet LEX system includes a Windows 2000 operating system, advanced graphics creation tools, Lyric 2-D/3-D CG/animation with 500 True Type fonts, and the standard CAL API for automated data-driven applications such as Chyron’s NewsCrawl.
Available as an option to the Duet LE or LEX or as a stand-alone product, Chyron’s C-Mix allows for multichannel mixing and layering capability that can display two video squeezeback sources, text, object-based animations and multiple rolls and crawls over an internal video clip background.
