Interactive TV company OpenTV has deployed more than 50 million set-top boxes.
The middleware-enabled boxes have been deployed across digital cable, satellite and terrestrial networks.
"I am delighted with the continued strong growth of our middleware deployments," said James A. Chiddix, CEO/chairman of the San Francisco-based company.
OpenTV recently inked a deal with Playboy to develop iTV applications and a deal with Comcast Spotlight to manage traffic and billing.
