Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) has selected NVISION's NV5128-MC multichannel master control switcher for Turner's TNT HD facility in Atlanta.
The TBS project required the reliable distribution of HD video as well as the ability to handle 5.1 surround sound, stereo, SAP and DVS.
The NV5128-MC master control switcher combines digital master control and multiformat routing in the same frame. Standard features include A/B mixing with full auto transition control, multi-level video keying, logo store, squeezeback effects generator, audio over mixer and optional built-in Dolby-E decoding.
