Nucomm Growing Into New Location

Nucomm has purchased an 11,500-square-foot warehouse space in Hackettstown, N.J., adjacent to its headquarters. The company said the acquisition was made to enhance the company’s efficiency.

Nearly 8,000 square feet will be used for storing finished products, while 3,500 feet will be dedicated to “value added” operations, including integrating the control, radio and antenna systems to prevent potential downstream installation problems on-location.

According to Dr. John B. Payne, Nucomm president, the new warehouse will be instrumental in maximizing Nucomm’s productivity, allowing for more process orders, swifter turnaround and shorter delivery time. The new facility will also serve as a critical means for storing equipment being built to assist broadcasters in their efforts to meet the requirements of the Nextel BAS Relocation Project.

Nucomm was recently acquired by Vitec Group.
