The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) kicks off its annual conference Feb. 17 at Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. Organizers estimate about 6,000 people will attend the event that runs through Feb. 22.
The conference holds a series of workshops and educational sessions focusing on radio, television and church media, along with a three-day exhibit hosting more than 300 companies. Guest speakers and artists include Kay Arthur, Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Tony Evans, Nicole C. Mullen, Ed Young and Selah.
In addition to the annual conference in its 63rd year, the association is extending its reach this year, launching REACH 2006, a three-day conference targeting a younger audience.
"With new generations steeped in a media-centric culture, it is time for the kind of strategic thinking that will better enable us to speak to them. Enter REACH 2006, NRB's newest conference, focusing on using innovative media to reach a new generation. This conference, and the creative strategies developed through it, will be one of the keys to effectively exalt Christ before a watching and listening world," said Dr. Frank Wright, NRB president and CEO.
The event runs from Feb. 16-19 at the same location as NRB. It carries a long list of programs, including TV, radio and church media boot camps, along with industry experts and creative outlets.
