NoloDigitalFilm, a new post-production facility in Chicago, is using ARRISCAN to scan in 2K, 4K and 6K resolutions. The facility is also able to provide 4K, 10-bit log digital intermediates.
One of the goals behind the design of the new facility was to be completely data-centric, unburdened by a traditional video workflow, according to Nolo engineer Boris Seagraves. The ARRISCAN facilitates the data-centric workflow by its fast scanning speed and overall flexibility to support all types of projects, including digital intermediate, color corrections, TV projects and restoration work.
