Norway-based Network Electronics ASA has opened a U.S. office in Salt Lake City to expand its market presence in North America. Cameron Francis, former senior product line manager for PowerQuest Corp., was named chief executive officer. He previously held high-level positions with Thomson Grass Valley and Innovus Multimedia Corp. and Century Software, where he was responsible for product marketing and management.
As CEO, Francis, a graduate of the University of Utah who serves on the Board of Trustees of Salt Lake Community College, will be responsible for developing and expanding Network Electronics ASA's dealer and distribution network. He will also oversee promotion and marketing of its three product lines to the domestic market.
