Media DVX, Pathfire Create Electronic Ad Delivery Network

Media DVX has teamed up with Pathfire to create a digital video distribution network for electronic ad delivery.

The combined network of more than 1,300 broadcast stations will be used for news, syndication, video and advertising markets.

Media DVX--a provider of digital media exchange services--and Pathfire, will combine their existing station server footprints, comprising more than 99 percent of the broadcast TV stations in the United States.

Scott Yeller, president of Media DVX--based in West Chester, Pa.--sees benefits for a variety of professionals.

"Advertisers, agencies, distribution houses and post-production houses can finally enjoy the speed, reliability and lower costs of complete electronic ad distribution," he said.
