Graphics system producer Vizrt has appointed new sales staff to support its growing operations in the United States.
Steve Ellis--former director of sales for Pinnacle--has joined the company as vice president of channel sales for North America. Ellis was previously the vice president and general manager of broadcast distribution company, SNNY where he serviced and sold broadcast and post equipment to markets in New York, Boston and Philadelphia. He will spearhead sales of the company's line of real-time broadcast graphics systems.
Boyd Baumgartner is now the company's western regional sales manger. Bill Anderson will serve as the company's new central regional sales manager. Also, Vizrt tapped Aldo Capisi as demo artist and application specialist.
Vizrt is based in Bergen, Norway.
