LSI Logic Corp. has introduced the ZSP Digital Audio Platform in response to an evolving audio market that requires support of multiple standards, new audio features and improved sonic audio quality.
The ZSP Digital Audio Platform is based on LSI's ZSP400 digital signal processor core and includes software for all digital audio standards required for DTV, DVD and DVD-Audio like AC-3, MP3, AAC, MPEG-1 and -2 and audio enhancement post processing.
The ZSP 400 offers 16+32-bit data paths and is compliant with LSI's ZOpen software framework, which leverages off-the-shelf algorithms from ZSP application system partners, including ESPICO and Spatalizer.
