Local Support for Asia from Link

Starting this month, Link Research plans to offer technical support in the Asia/Pacific region, in association with its office in Singapore.

The new Customer Support Service for Asia Pacific will be headed by Link's Engineering Director, Roger Davies, who is relocating to the region. Davies will be working alongside Sue Gilks, Link's Regional Sales Manager for Asia, who is based in Singapore.

Davies will be making regular visits to China, where Link Research has supplied wireless camera systems to three National broadcasters. "Our customer base in Asia is growing and many of our customers will be in Beijing for the Olympic Games, so we are providing local support here for them," says Davies. "Link's equipment is very reliable and is usually up and running very quickly but often broadcasters are working with RF for the first time so we are keen to provide every assistance they might need. We will also be able to offer additional out-of-hours support to Link's customers in other time zones."

Davies' department will be offering telephone assistance, equipment repair and engineering visits to customer sites. There will be a new Technical Support Hotline for all territories in the Pacific Rim time zones, this will extend out to the Far East, Australasia and West Coast America.
